“ Missing any atmosphere of urgency and excitement to bring medical device ideas to market before the idea is obsolete and the market moves on. Not a concern if MedTech is primarily focused on issues that institutions face with acceptance of the speed that institutions appear to demonstrate. I was going to suggest asking for input from the Ivey Business School but then realize that their expertise is likely on how multinationals and our local institutions should interact. My understanding is that such processes are in place and mature now. As London has no multinationals to take part, perhaps a reality check is in order? Startups, spinoffs and existing small companies need to be very agile and able to make fast decisions to survive. This almost incompatible with institutional processes. Change is needed to jump start a medical device industry sector in London. ”

“ Good. Interesting story about the developments and issues of starting a new company. I hadn't known some of the aspects of this "MedTech" group. ”
