I think the far left, with the totally lapdog complicit media, were able to paint Mitt as someone to be afraid of.    So, the people didn't vote for Obama in the numbers they did in 2008, but were afraid to vote for Romney.

Personally, I now think our only hope is:  Mayans 2012!
