............. No owner or operator of an animal rescue for dogs shall interfere with inspection or refuse to allow the director or the director's authorized representative full access to all areas where dogs are kept or cared for.

In other words folks, if you choose to save and rescue dogs in your home (which every rescurer I know does) you no longer have fourth amendment rights against warrantless search and seizures of your home. Who in their right mind is going to rescue dogs anymore?

For those who don't care about that, let's go with the "first they came for the......" story,. Who's to say that "dogs" can't be substituted for "guns" so that anyone with a registered gun in their home no longer have 4th amendment rights. Or, for that matter, anything else can be inserted there.

We are rightly concerned about what is happening on a national level, but our rights are being stripped at the state level as well by many legislators many of us helped to take office.

Looking at his own decadent empire, Cicero wrote:
“Do not blame Caesar; blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the ‘new, wonderful, good society’ which shall now be Rome’s, interpreted to mean: more money, more ease, more security, more living fatly at the expense of the industrious.”
