The GOP is still our best outlet but the establishment Republicans are no better than the left in that their ideology is to retain their power by what ever means necessary and shifting with the political winds regardless of doing the right thing. We need people in office that will stick to their conservative values. I've about had enough of people like Carl Rove.

Gary I agree with you.

However the GOP has to throw some bones to the conservative wing. Perhaps if the GOP had gotten behind and supported the candidates they now hold up as examples. The elections may have broken our way.

Or is that what the GOP was really going for? Some examples to hold up to other aspiring politicians.

I have and am trying hard to hold onto the idea of turning the GOP more conservative.

However after each election cycle. That idea is wearing thin.

As long as the Liberal media remains in control of the popular avenues of information, there is nothing a third party will be able to do any better than what we have already.    Just look at the Tea Party as an example.   This was a popular grass roots movement that gained so much popularity so fast and so alarmed the Left, they spent millions of dollars and amassed the largest propaganda campaign I’ve ever seen to destroy the challenge to their Liberal ideology.

Hollywood, pop culture, and the media all embrace Liberal policies.   And you can’t fight that with a fledgling political party made up of what they’ll rebuke as “right wing crazies”.   I don’t see a new party being helpful at all.

Is it time for a 3rd party yet?

Cheers,

Scott
