What is Permaculture?

Permaculture is a design system for sustainable living, developed by Australians Bill Mollison and David Holmgren in the 1970s and now practiced by millions worldwide. While permaculture is mainly associated with growing food, it also covers water harvesting, renewable energy, agroforestry, animal management, waste recycling, sustainable housing, finance, community building and earth repair.

If you are interested in Permaculture, Self-Reliance and Self-Sufficiency...then this is the group for you! Together, we will meet and share knowledge about living a better life, "for when times get tough, and even if they don't."  (hat tip, Jack Spirko).
