About Rob Renahan:
Rob Renahan has passionately practiced the internal arts of health and wholeness for over 18 years. At an early age, he diligently began with self-discovery methods such as journaling and self-analyzing. He continued this training through his college and graduate school years. During this time, he learned meditation, NLP and other counseling psychology modalities. In 2000, he received a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology and practiced for 2 years before undergoing specialized training.
In 1999, he began yoga, qigong, and intensive meditation training. He trained with many meditation masters and teachers throughout the world. During this time, he has completed 9 three-month and 1 one-month retreats called kyol che in monasteries or monastic like settings around the world. These retreats encompassed a rigorous and intensive schedule of sitting meditation and observing silence. In the interim, he has explored numerous solo retreats, which also encompass a rigorous schedule while living alone in a secluded cabin.
Rob has furthered his yoga, qigong and tai chi training by learning from top masters. He underwent a one month teacher training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. He has worked with Master Mantak Chia, Michael Winn, Marie Favorito, David Twicken, and Rene Navarro at Tao University for 4 yrs (summers). He has taught meditation since 2000 and was a head dharma teacher for 3 three-month intensive retreats in Europe. In the fall of 2008, Kripalu Yoga Center invited him to be an Assistant Teacher for their prestigious and well respected Yoga Teacher Training Program. He continues his training and strives with the intention to realize his Original Nature, which is being in the moment and cultivating harmony in everyday life, and strives to help other individuals manifest this inner gift moment to moment in their life.
