Living in the Now-relaxing, meditating, sensing awareness

    • Can we live in the now, the present, more often?  Would that transform our lives? Can we be more relaxed? We all receive spiritual gifts but we also must work.  Can this lead to a new experience of myself? This work takes many forms but leads to self knowledge by direct experience.

From working in this way, a new attention can appear. Opening to this new energy and becoming sensitive to it shows us our next step on our way.

The group can be useful for those who wish to learn to relax, meditate, meet like minded seekers and explore an introduction to this system of inner work.

      Meditation and discussion to follow!

"Man is born a seeker...such is his true vocation, his birthright. He may forget it, deny it, bury it or abuse it. No matter; this secret call is still alive, prompting him from within to try, and to try increasingly, to realize the significance of his being here on earth. For he is here to awake, to remember, and to search, again and still again."

Henri Tracol in Search, Journey on the Inner Path

"Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear."

    • "Your possibilities are very great.  You can not even imagine what your possibilities are.  But nothing can be attained in sleep.

"In all ancient teachings the first demand at the beginning of the way to liberation was:

    "Know thyself." - G. I. Gurdjieff

Tonight was really helpful for me. I would like to echo what James said at the end of the meeting and thank everyone for what they brought.

“I salute you! There is nothing I can give you which you have not; but there is much, that, while I cannot give, you can take.

No heaven can come to us unless our hearts find rest in it today. Take Heaven.
No peace lies in the future which is not hidden in this present instant. Take Peace.
The gloom of the world is but a shadow, behind it, yet, within our reach, is joy. Take Joy.

And so, at this Christmas time, I greet you, with the prayer that for you, now and forever, the day breaks and the shadows flee away.”
