Warm Heart, Happy Mind: How to Develop Compassion
Normally, we work very hard to make ourselves happy. Thinking about our own happiness, we try to improve our financial situation, our living arrangements, and many other things in our lives. Ironically, however, one of the most important keys to happiness isn't thinking about ourselves at all but thinking about others. During this series, we'll learn meditations and practical, step-by-step methods for developing the warm heart of compassion that makes both ourselves and others happy.
Every class will begin with a brief introduction, followed by a guided breathing meditation and the Liberating Prayer. After meditation, there will be a short teaching and time for Q&A.
