Karma: A User’s Guide

Karma:  A User’s Guide

“Karma” is a word that many people use but few people really understand.  When Buddha used the word karma to explain how certain actions produce certain effects, his original intention was to help people avoid unnecessary problems and pains and find fulfillment and happiness.  In this series of practical meditations and teachings on karma, we’ll come to understand what karma really means and how we can utilize our understanding to create a better life.

Class Format

Every class will begin with a brief introduction, followed by a guided breathing meditation and the Liberating Prayer. After meditation, there will be a short teaching and time for Q&A. Class will end with Prayers for World Peace.

Class Schedule

May 11: What is karma?  And why should we care?
May 18: The most important things to know about karma
May 25: Karma and the confidence to change
June 1: There is no “instant karma”
June 8:  Purifying negative karma

Disappointly I can not but I would like to try to get to this at another time. My schedule during this time is already made. I need several weeks notice to be able to schedule time off --- as we make the schedule at work the second Tues. of the month.
Hope all the attends is able to take something from it that really touches them deep inside.
    Blessed Be, Lisa
