Bill, You received a 'Welcome' that referenced the RSVP Policy and just today I sent out an Update for the entire group. Since you are a part of the group you received it. Edy

RSVP Policy

We are all about fun and a good social time but need to maintain communication, order and courtesy.

Due to recent ‘No Shows’ to events, I have found it necessary to implement a policy to limit the problem that occurs when reservations are made and people don’t honor their RSVP.

If you RSVP ‘Yes’ to a Meet-2-Eat event you agree to attend the event OR change your RSVP 24 hours before the event or, in the case of an emergency, email, text or call me at least 1 hour before the event. [address removed] or[masked]-5436.

The unfortunate consequences of not being considerate and following the policy will be as follows:

After 2 ‘No Shows’ within 6 months you will be removed from the group.

*NEW (August 1, 2013)
If you ‘No Show’ and someone on the ‘Waiting List’ misses the event because of you then you will be dropped from the group. (Sometimes you get on the ‘Yes’ list last minute and don’t have time to respond or even make the event, I am NOT including that instance.)

Definitions
A ‘No Show’ is not showing up without changing your RSVP or notifying the Organizer.
An ‘Excused due to emergency’ is notifying the Organizer of a last minute event that prevents you from attending.
