North County Work Group

NOTE: Changing the timing to once every two weeks!!! Might be easier to commit to with less times available, less pressure.

We are revamping the way this works.

So, one of the requests made to Meet.Write is that some people want a little more structure. Getting together at the same time in the same place to write is fun, meeting once a month for happy hour is fun, but some people want to get more into the nuts and bolts of writing. What works for you, what works for me, how would you tackle this or that? It's not a question of putting anyone in the spotlight and making them feel uncomfortable. It's talking about writing process. Are you looking for your big idea? Do you have your idea and no idea where to start? Do you have a start but aren't sure how to bring your tale to completion? There's already a very nice group for people who have finished novels they're revising for sale. This meeting should be for people who aren't even close to that yet. We're all amateurs here.

That's what I'm looking to provide here, a place to meet, have some coffee and talk shop.

I'll be there, but a little late. Should get there a little before 7.

Whatever you have is fine. A mix is good because we can see how well you plot and how well you write. :)

Does everyone have material to bring for the meeting?

I'll have material to bring this week. Does it matter if it's chapters, outlines, or both?

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
