MAS Member Event - Shooting portraits with low cost equipment

Do you need expensive equipment to take quality photos?  Not at all!  Come watch us as we use inexpensive equipment and more to take quality photographs that you can pass as professional work.  Trent will use $50 strobes, old cameras, old lenses and be put to task of showing how to get good results with less.  A fun event sure to inspire photographers new and old.

The only rule for this shoot is NOTHING is going to cost more than $50~60 dollars (except for the Camera).  We will be using a cheap strobe, cheap modifier, a pretty crappy lens (Canon[masked] Lens)..etc.

Members only! (Pay your $25!) Please tip the model if you can so he/she makes a little gas money to get home :)

This will be available for streaming to watch, you must be in attendance to ask questions.

If you are planning on watching the stream please RSVP still.  It helps us for logistics.

You have to be a MAS member to get the live stream link, and it will only be sent to people who REQUEST it in comments below.

The following equipment will be used

Very informative. Trent is easy to talk to, knowledgeable, keeps the pace well, explains what he is doing as he goes, likes when you ask questions AND he's funny. What more could you want? A perfectly beautiful model? Oh yeah, she was there too! Can't wait for the next one. Thanks.

This will be my first time at this and am looking forward to it. I am in a wheelchair and my wife usually accompanies me to help with things I cannot reach or get to. Will this be OK for this shoot?

I hate to post this kind of comment but it is a must, I cant make it since my car is in the shop today with very costly repairs. You can send me the link but unfortunately my crap computer will not allow me to watch them (or at least it hasn't in the past). Will you be have a Youtube link and will you be showing how to assemble this equipment?
It is all just magically assembled when we appear for events.
