learn about Five Elements, Qigong and Tai Chi

Adrian Tineo talks about Five Elements, Qigong and Tai Chi!

The five elements from Chinese philosophy are wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Within the holistic system of therapy known as traditional Chinese medicine, these elements relate to organs in the human body. Qigong, on the other hand, is an umbrella term for many forms of exercise originating in China which promote health and wellness. This talk will discuss the five elements in the human body and how qigong can be used to regulate them.
Tai Chi is a philosophical principle, a form of gentle exercise with beneficial effects for health, based on a complete martial art system that includes physical, mental and energetic aspects.
Adrian Tineo is a qigong and tai chi teacher living in Berne. Since 2005, he has been traveling around the world meeting and training with some of the best teachers in the West. He is convinced that qigong is the key discipline for achieving a healthy and satisfactory lifestyle in the 21st century and is passionate about making it accessible to people of all ages and conditions.
Adrian offers courses and training sessions in Berne. For more information in German, Spanish and English, go to www.qigongforliving.com.

The meeting at Bruder Klaus Church in the Cheminee Room will take place from 19:00 to about 21:30. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please register in advance so we know how many to cater for.

    >Hi Graham, thanks for the wonderful evening with your International Club of Bern
The question about the next event on 26 November which we mentioned: information on the Swiss social security system. Probably we are full with ICB members so we won't advertise it on meetup. Bella you are now registered on www.icberne.ch so you will receive information about it and can attend. Regards

Hi Graham, Rosa has been so kind to bring home the little booklet with her, that I so clumsily forgot. As I saw her last night, I have it now and already marked the 26th in my agenda! See you then and have a fab weekend!

Ok, great, Bella, Rosa, and Evie, plus members of my International Club www.icberne.ch which has a lot of great events and many are open and free to non-members. I wish I had time to do a course with Adrian and improve my movements a bit, but I am still too busy.

Hey Graham, I don't know why MU members aren't as active as you'd like them/expect them to be, but I just saw this notification now and I think it sounds wonderful!See you tomorrow evening!

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
