Hi friends! Here's an idea for a Saturday that promises to please. Paulie's Garage Band will be rockin' at Chanslor Ranch. I saw them at the ranch last year in February. I had such a great time that I want to do it again.
Here's the 411: This is an event to benefit the Wetlands Project. Chanslor Ranch always offers MASC (Meetup at Salmon Creek) members something free and this time it is free camping and RV spots! The music and dance is only $20.00 and runs from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. If you are interested, they're also offering a Chuck Wagon BBQ at 7:00 p.m. for $30.00 additional (that's my plan). Vegetarian menu is available and full Lions Club Bar.
If you want to come out early, Huey and Duey (draft mules, not ducks) will be pulling a wagon up to the wildlife preserve. That is happening from 2:00 p.m. until dark.
As I said before, this is to benefit the Wetland's Project at Chanslor Ranch. The ranch is surrounded by over 10,000 acres of parks and protected land. The ranch has approximately 250 acres of wetlands. In 1993, the Wetlands Project was established for environmental education and preservation. That sounds like a pretty good thing to support to me.
Hope to see you there!
