The Lean Startup "After-Conference", so you don't have to lose sleep....

*Entrance to this meetups is FREE but by Registration only. Please see the details at the end of the description.

On December 9-11, the biggest names in the Lean Startup world, plus dozens of terrific speakers you don’t know with must-hear advice, and more than a thousand entrepreneurs will gather at The Lean Startup Conference in San Francisco. Hubanana was named an official simulcast partner for Ra’anana and will present the recordings of the event at Hubanana, Ra’anana, FREE of charge, after the conference (CHECK OUR DATES!) in order to allow you to hear the talks during normal, waking hours.

The presentation will be divided into TWO evening sessions;

The 1st session will take place on Sunday the 15th of December, at 18:30 (3 hours).

The 2nd session will take place on Thursday, the 19th of December at 18:30 3 hours).

Brimming with founder stories you’ve never heard, fresh case studies and in-depth expert advice you can use immediately, the conference delivers advanced lessons in entrepreneurship.
Whether you’re new to Lean Startup methods or have been putting these practices to use in your organization, this event promises to educate and inform. The Lean Startup Conference brings together leaders from startups, Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and non-profit organizations to share lessons for building innovative lean organizations.

Many of the 70 entrepreneurs will share their first-hand experiences, including:

• Marc Andreessen, co-founder and general partner at Andreessen Horowitz
• Kent Beck from Facebook, expert on product development, and a creator of Agile programming
• Cindy Alvarez, head of user experience and product design for Yammer (a Microsoft company)
• Steve Blank, serial entrepreneur, author, lecturer at Stanford
• Catherine Bracy, Code for America’s director of organizing and engagement
• Eric Ries, author of The Lean Startup

While knowledge about the science of entrepreneurship has gone global, startup ecosystems are always local. Come to Hubanana, Ra’anana at 18:30 to meet fellow Israeli entrepreneurs interested in creating and managing successful startups.

“Lean Startup isn't about being cheap but is about being less wasteful and still doing things that are big.”
—Eric Ries

Very Disappointing. A Nice idea to show the Video of the The Lean Start Up Conference in San Francisco but this could have been done differently ( digitally over the web as a digital meetUp of Hubanana). At Part 2 of the "MeetUp" there were just 3 people attending and only I stayed to the end to receive the "password" ( as promised) and then Beth, the organizer . recanted. That quite frankly sucks.

This is in stark contrast to the wonderful Meetup in Hubanan on Tuesday where Sagy Gullianka spoke on The Principles behind the most successful pricing models"

Seriously people come straight from work to this MeetUp ... bourekas would be nice.

There is a taboon and something else. Should take one to two minute to buy. It's on the corner of the street. Don't get me wrong, I would also prefer to have some snack. But I understand it costs money. Think how much money would go to waste on this Meetup when only 3 people showed up. If they get some money, I think better speakers (audio) is much more important.

At the next Hubanana , I will order In Pizza and Coke for all physical comers ( on me) Whow I am kidding about the food .The IGT Summits MeetUp ( Big Data ) is an exception. Sushi with unusual hoods was at the last. Some MeetUps ( probably most) are commercial and some organizers do so full time... living comfortably on their Sponsorship.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
