Devops for Windows - Puppet and Powershell

Hi guys, the main talk this week is being provided by a ThoughWorker Alex Ong. Alex has had some recent experiences using Puppet with Powershell to automate Windows infrastructure and is going to be kind enough to share his experience with us.

As normal we will start the evening with some lightning talks, Nick Josevski Andrew Browne and I plan to do a double header on some JavaScript alternatives, namely CoffeScript and TypeScript. If anyone else would like to talk for 5-15 mins as usual you will be welcomed to do so enthusiastically.

Here is the abstract for Alex's talk and a short bio on him.

Dr Power$(hell) How I learned to stop worrying and love the Windows Automation - An experience report on building up our .net Build Army

Alex Ong works for ThoughtWorks as a Build Automation/Cloud/Environments specialist and occasional jack of all trades. He enjoys long walks on the beach and Breaking All The Things.
