Werribee

Presidents Park in Werribee has a very large off lead dog area. There is also a small fenced off area for dogs that run off or meeting many dogs at once.

I would like to meet Melbourne Dog walkers at the fenced off area here on this date.

Presidents Park is very large. Please note the car park beside the River and Heaths Road. It is a short walk to the play area.

Some people may wish to do a big walk around the park.

Please keep in mind that this is a public area and sometimes people bring dogs that may only be learning. Having said that, I have never had a serious problem at this venue. There are a few regulars at this time and many infrequent people.

I'm not hard to spot, Grey Beard, Long Hair, White Boxer running around.

Hi, if you are interested at all and live in the west, I started a group on facebook for the Wyndham residents called Wyndham Responsible Pet Ownership. Feel free to join it and I will add you.

Over 300 pet lovers that organise play dates all the time.

Had a good afternoon in spite of the cold.

I got there early and went for a walk. No one showed for a while. Then Megan turned up with Holly and Buddy. There was a lady in the fenced off area with a difficult Doberman, so Megan and I decided to go for a walk as no one else had showed up.

As we went around the lake Ayla and Brian caught up to us with Berkeley and Lilo. Lilo is a beautiful minature Poodle who had no problems with the big dogs bouncing around her.

Got another video of the dogs playing around but unfortunately I cannot get it up on the site.

We are a rain hail or shine group!

As was verified at the Darebin Parklands meetup.

    Just bring a coat!

Buster will probably need a bath when I get home.

Yea, good spot eh. I usually park at the Weir and walk down to the fenced off bit most Sundays at this time. I had to cross at the Bridge today as the river is up a bit.
