We had one of the biggest turnouts ever for our last meetup in Caulfield Park which was combined with the free outdoor music concert at the Bandstand! So in November... we are going back for more!
The meetup will start at 1.30pm with an off-leash frolic for our four-legged friends in Caulfield Park. We will meet in the Park near the intersection of Inkerman Rd and Normanby Avenue. Then, for all those interested, we will wander over to the 'Caulfield Park Bandstand' to hear some free outdoor music.
The concerts are organised by Friends of Caulfield Park. The music starts at 2pm.
The concert on 10 November includes performances by the Glen Eira Band (traditional brass band), and the Bayside Singers (a capella ranging from classical to show tunes).
It also coincides with Glen Eira Artists Society annual 'Paint in the Park Day'. There are free art and craft activities for children.
It is a great community activity, and everyone is welcome (with dogs or not), to listen to the music in a lovely outdoor setting. Please note: dogs must be ON LEASH at all times around the bandstand, as there are lots of kids and art and craft activities going on.
Bring the usual things for your dog (leash, poo bags, water) and, if you are coming to the concert, a rug and picnic nibbles are the way to go.
Look forward to seeing you there!
