A lap of Albert Park Lake

Hi all!

It's great to be back, and time for another walk in the park with our four-legged friends!.

This time, we'll do a lap of Albert Park Lake. Since there are a lot of ducks and swans who call Albert Park Lake their home, we will do this whole walk on leads.

Remember to bring water for your dog, (and some kind of drinking bowl) as there are not a lot of taps around the lake. BYO poo bags too of course!

We'll meet on the grass near the intersection of Albert Rd and Aughtie Drive. We'll walk around the lake in an anticlockwise direction, and hopefully stop at the end for a coffee at the kiosk near the boat sheds (assuming it is still open!)

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Cheers

Kate and Harry (woof!)

A more perfect sunny autumn day could not have been had! Everyone was relaxed and in great spirits and the atmosphere was very mellow. I really enjoyed it!

It was an easy walk, the dogs and owners in attendance were all really friendly. Definitely good opportunity for dogs to socialise.

I have spotted a pace to berth a boat on the Island in the middle. I will have to take my canoe over to do some exploring.

All the details of the location are included in the Meetup details. You just need to look at the map which is included in the details, and the red marker shows our initial starting point. You will see that it states: "Meet near the intersection of Albert Rd and Aughtie Drive". This location is shown on the map. You will need to find your own way there.
