The Worlds Most Infamous Party Returns to Melbourne on November 4th with 3 HUGE Headliners. 3pm - late..
MACEO PLEX (3hrs)
1st ever Melbourne performance.
One of the rising starts of the Crosstown Rebels label. After many years of prolific works on such labels as Treibostoff, Dumb Unit, Audiomatique, to name a few Maceo aka Maetrik travelled the word playing in some of the best clubs such as Rex, Cocoon, Fabric, Womb etc. Since then Maceo has begun to strip back his robotic Armor to expose a more musical and groove based side with his music shining brighter than the star Sirius and his set at Circoloco will be one of galactic proportions!
MATTHIAS TANZMANN (4hrs)
grew up in Leipzig, Germany during the time the Berlin Wall came down. His early years saw massive political upheaval around him and so the rawness of electronic music easily took hold of him while still at school. During his studies he began various ventures into production and started his infamous Moon Harbour record label twelve years ago, long before Berlin was an epicenter for house and techno music. His second imprint Cargo Edition was started six years later around the time he was asked to be a resident at Circo Loco DC10 Ibiza, a title he still retains. A true professional in a world of excess, Tanzmann remains one of the pioneers of his sound yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Matthias Tanzmann crafts fabric 65 into a chunky and mesmerizing episode of the definitive compilation series and will be sure to deliver the same level of groove and skills to his Melbourne exclusive performance.
MARGARET DYGAS (3hrs)
Margaret Dygas’ position as an avant garde techno producer has been achieved with only three proper releases to her name but backed up by years of formidable DJ sets around the world. Born in Poland, raised in California – has been a notable presence in house and techno since around 2005; she first came to our attention through her association with the then very much on-it Crosstown Rebels crew. Long a DJ of high repute, Dygas’s development in her parallel career as a producer has been remarkable. Working partly in collaboration with NSI’s Tobias Freund, she has now arrived at a trippy, well-honed and unshowily avant-garde techno sound that has seen her release records through such august imprints as Perlon and Non Standard Productions. Her latest and most substantial offering to date is debut album How Do You Do?, out now via Japanese label Power Shovel Audio.
Be prepared for her Melbourne debut.!
