Introduction
Hello, my name is Francesca. Live near the Westgarth but rarely go as I find it very mainstream, prefer range at Nova and ACMI. Love discussing film with others.
Tell us about the types of films you like.
Arthouse. I love cinema which expands and deepens my world. I dislike the cliched and predictable. Some films I have loved in recent years : Pina in 3D, Another Green World, The Secret Life of the Hedgehog, The Lives of Others, Romulus my Father. Right now, the William Kentridge films" @ ACMI - animated charcoal drawings - utterly surprising. I would love to revisit some of the great directors of the 70s, particularly German and Italian
What film do you really want to see right now?
Struggling to find one of interest. Saw Le Havre yesterday - visually beautiful but somewhat predictable.

So sorry I did not get to the cafe for the discussion - the street I was in headed me back into the Dandenong Rd relentless flood of traffic and I ended up going on an unwanted tour of Albert Park - it was like a dream, no control at all. Next time I hope , as I love the discussion afterwards
