I relocated from the UK about 2 years ago and so happy that I did! I've spent the time securing work, settling down in my home and now I'd love to meet like minded people and make some new friends. I love films, reading, cooking and new adventures!
I was blown away by The Artist - how inventive and engaging. I was thrilled by The Lives of Others - totally captivating and the subtitles didn't get in the way in the least. The Piano was magical with haunting music. Girl with a Pearl Earing - I've watched it countless times and never tire of it. Same with Out of Africa - get in the tissues! Moulin Rouge was groundbreaking at the time - a complete feast for the senses. As Good As it Gets - so so funny, creases me up. Also loved the Harry Potter series - talking paintings and moving staircases - what fun! The Pianist, Boy with the stripped pyjamas, historical films. I'm very willing to try new genres - although Chick Flicks I'll give them a miss!
Lovely group of people - always

Hi Clare do you need to restrict this group to single ladies ? Is it possible to include ladies over 50 whose husbands are not very interested in getting out and about for short trips Kind regards Marilyn
Hi Clare, I'm also a pom and am a tad older than your youthful 62.
