Q&A with ANZ CTO Patrick Maes on Startups & Disruption

For our next event we're thrilled to have the ANZ Chief Technology Officer Patrick Maes sharing his views on FinTech startups and disruption.

With FinTech surging as a popular topic, it's common to hear people wondering whether startups and Silicon Valley present a danger or an opportunity for our local big 4 banks.  Find out for yourself by attending the event and asking Patrick directly during the Q&A!  Questions we are asking Patrick include:

• DISRUPTION: Is talk of disruption in financial services real?

• STARTUP: What type of things is ANZ doing in the startup space?

• TRENDS: What does ANZ see as the most significant trends in FinTech?

This is set to be another huge event so be sure to RSVP early and avoid disappointment!

Patrick outlined some interesting problems for fintechers to solve. Andrew did a great job of hosting - nice light touch. S. rolls, pies, beer and great conversation! Highly rated night. Thanks.

WOW, awesome presentation, wonderful to see, well worth the trip. Thanks for setting this up. Patrick was kind of amazing to listen to. Not what I thought it would be. He certainly wasn't the "stuffy" ANZ banker type, he was philosophical, and altruistic. I like him.
