Hack night

Come along and have a social hack. Bring your own project. It must be:

1. Functional (or at least in a functional language)
2. Something you're free to talk about.

No food or drinks provided, but the office is in hardware lane so I imagine we'll all go for a stroll somewhere to grab a bite.

If you get lost or need to be let in then give me a call on[masked] 887.

Tossing up between beginning to work through 'The Art of Prolog' book, continuing 'SICP', or having a go at implementing a concatenative language in Rust. Are logic and concatenative languages ok?

There will be internet. I can help out with erlang if you decide to go down that route.

FYI I'll be starting a port of an existing C project I'm almost finished. I eventually want to make it a case study comparing my assumptions about delivering this type of project (kind of embedded system) in Clojure to the realities, as well as how the two different outputs compare.

How bizarre, it said 8 spots available, so I changed my RSVP to no, then it said 7 spots available.

Anyway, I didn't realise attendence would be so limited, so I'll probably miss it. Sounds like fun though!

Yeah I originally set the limit to 10. Then realised that some Silverponders may be back working late. So rather than evict them from their desk I lowered the limit.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
