Monthly FMUG Meetup

Morten will be presenting on "Designing Software - Functional Style". Followed by some discussion. The idea will be to show how functional concepts can be scaled up to designing/building large scale software. Even if you have to use an OO language at work. It will be applicable for both beginners and experts.

Then Kornelius will be giving us a lightning talk with a brief introduction to scala and some chatter about his experiences using it in industry. Finally I'll be giving another lightning talk about my experience writing a functional data validation library for Clojure.

So it's going to be a full on meetup. Tell your friends, tell your co-workers, bring your girlfriend and your dog.

Pizza, beer and venue provided by Thoughtworks (as usual).

Not bad; the first talk went too far off topic and for too long, but there were some cool people there and some interesting discussions were had.
