November Meetup

Melbourne Geek Night is an informal get-together for people who work in the web industry around Melbourne to catch-up, have a yarn, share ideas and talk about new techniques and technologies.

A dose of CSS animations and transitions!

Learn how to harness CSS animations and transitions for everyday web projects in a manageable way. See how Sass, Bourbon and Animate.css can seriously brighten your day. If you are a designer wondering what is doable, or a developer wondering how others are handling it, this is the talk for you.

Web for TV

‘Smart’ TVs now come bundled with a web browser as standard, it’s probably a good idea to focus on improving the experience for these large screen devices. Lets take a look at who's doing it right and start thinking about web content on the big screen.

Some good news and some bad...

The good - Just updated the details with Nic Hodges' talk. It sounds fascinating!

The bad - We've had to move the date to Thursday 21st as we had a bit of a mix-up with a double-booking at the venue. I hope that doesn't mess anyone around too much. Change the date in your diaries!
