Exploring the link between mindfulness and happiness. Mindfulness is a hot topic in Positive Psychology, as its recognised as an effective way to reduce stress, increase self-awareness, enhance emotional intelligence, and effectively handle painful thoughts and feelings.
The meetup will include discussion & participation in a mindfulness meditation.
Please note, for those that have attended a meetup, I have changed the meetup time to 6.30! The format has slightly changed also. We will have a mingle at the beginning of the meetup 6.30 til 7.00, with also another opportunity to have a mingle and chat at the end of the session. The mindfulness discussion & meditation will take place from 7.00 til 8.00.
There is a $10 charge to attend the meetup, this goes towards covering costs and any surplus made is donated to charity. This is optional if you are going through financial hardship.
As usual, there will be tea; coffee and nibbles provided.
