I'm a polyglot developer interested in chewing the fat on all topics Java and JVM - particularly language interop but also discovering new techniques from other languages and platforms we can use on our day to day work with the JVM.

A diverse community of developers. We've got people from students and beginner programmers to those who were using Java when it was still called Oak. The group has actually strayed quite far from Java topics covering the newer web frameworks (eg VertX, Play) and our talks have been using a variety of languages on the JVM platform
Hi Kon, I'm a job-seeking coach and I'd love to become a sponsor for your Meetup Group. Around 85% of my clients are offered their ideal job within 2-4 weeks of employing my coaching services. I'd like to offer a 20% discount on my individual and group coaching sessions to your Meetup members. Is this something you and the members of your Meetup group might be interested in? Kind regards, Katrina
You may remember me from APSMA - nice photo :-)
I am creating a global map of coders for good, and I thought you'd like to be part of it. When you get a chance, take a look at http://goo.gl/M8V8A ... My goal with the map is to be able to share with everyone a map/directory of people who can code and want to make a difference.
Also, appreciate if you can share with your friends/colleagues.
Thanks for the wonderful evening with lot of fun and interesting stuff. Also appreciate if you can leave a message to "Kimsterami" with my details([masked], [masked]), since her profile not accepting messages from me but from organizer. Thanks a lot again for the lovely event.
Thanks for your welcome. Sorry, I'm just playing with idea to use MPS for Eiffel'ing Java as it hard to find the time for hobbies(dreams?). Hope your not disappointed. Perhaps we can collaborate through this group to do it. I did write a DbC framework for Groovy many years ago though, and am seriously thinking to improve GContracts with Eiffel like named assertions and/or refit my DbC into Grails.
Thanks for the welcome. I will most likely be able to make the next meetup. See you then.
Thanks Kon, It's my pleasure to get to know you and everyone in this group.
I am not in Melbourne right now. Hopefully, I can attend the activities when I come back.
