Organisations suffer when they don't know and use what knowledge they have and when it walks out the door.
Good KM practice needs to include an awareness of knowledge management and support from the top right down through the organisation. The goal is that the organisation culture supports knowledge sharing and the organisation has procedures and tools in place to support knowledge management.
Hi, I'm a business analyst interested in all things to do with how organisations work. My quals are in IT and Psychology and in the latter I did my honours thesis on knowledge sharing in organisations.
