Learning HTML and CSS is the first step in understanding how to build websites! They serve as a fantastic introduction for anyone interested in learning how to program.

In this 2 hour workshop, we will introduce you to basics of HTML and CSS, show you a few professional tips, and answer any questions you may have along the way.

  This is a practical course, so you will be taught how to write HTML code. 

We will also provide you with links if you want to continue learning on your own, as well as invitations to our intermediate and advanced HTML courses. 

For whom?

If you want to build a website for your business, or for your own personal education, this course is a great first step into learning how.

What you should already know

This is an introduction to HTML/CSS. We do not expect any previous experience with creating websites, but if you do have any experience, you are welcome to come along and learn more!

- We provide limited places so that you will get full attention from our instructors during the day.  

- We will provide you with training materials, programming software, and resources to take home with you at the end of the workshop

About the instructor

Tiang Cheng has been running his own Digital Agency for the past 4 years and is currently working at a Melbourne late stage startup. He loves working on the web, and learning about new web technologies. He has spoken on topics like web, javascript and mobile applications, and is a presenter at international conferences and local user groups. You may have also caught him as one of the presenters on iiNet’s GeekSpeak TV show.
