Full Moon Run No. 174

Directions:  From the city take the Calder Highway and exit at Gisborne. Take the Gisborne – Bacchus Marsh Road west for approximately 11km through Bullengarook to Carrolls Lane. Turn right into Carrolls Lane, follow for approx 2km & take the left fork to Firth Road. Follow Firth Road for approx 11km to Firth Park on right. From Carrolls Lane, the road is all weather gravel, so drive to the conditions.  Allow about 25 minutes travel time from Gisborne.

For those with GPS units, co-ordinates are 55H[masked] and 5853770. There will be MHFMH3 direction arrows from the Carrolls Lane turnoff.

The Full Moon HHH is the New Moon HHH's country cousin. These are like the jungle runs in Malaysia where hashing originated. Come and do the real thing. There will be a BBQ after the run. See https://sites.google.com/site/melbournefullmoonhash/

Run Details: The run will be set in bushland at the top of the Great Dividing Range in this old logging area. The run will be about 7km and there will be walks of 3km and 4km.
Included: There will be a drink stop for both runners and walkers who stay on trail. Hashers will also be greeted on return with an open fire and some hot homemade soup. Shelter will be available in case of rain and there are toilets in the park. A circle will be held at Firth Park and the Committee will provide all drinks for the charges. BYO drinks if you wish to have a drink after the run.
Dinner: Following circle and confirmation of the new Committee by about 5:30, we will adjourn to the Pig & Whistle Hotel at East Trentham (approx. 7km from Firth Park) for pay as you go drinks and dinner. The Pig & Whistle is a great little country pub with a warm fire, cold beer, good food and fantastic atmosphere in the middle of nowhere. I can't make it this time. Going to China & Hong Kong - hashing of course.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
