In IT forever. Self taught Perl c.1997, earning a trickle with it ever since. Ideal last programming language. Still waiting for Perl 6.
Ten years on we seem to again be getting it about right
Thank you for your note
I am most certainly hoping to get to the next group
Not your fault re the lecture
I should have read further on
Hi Tony! I am a member but have never made it to any of the meet ups. However, your introduction happen to catch my eye in the email for the next meetup. If you do organise an atheist charitable group at some point, I'd love to know. I think it would be fantastic, and have long though that there weren't enough groups out there (if any!) that volunteer time and money and love simply because the need is there; not because a religious organisation promises a greater reward for doing good. Cheers!
Couldn't help but think of you and your new group Tony http://www.stockholmresilience.org/re...
Hi Tony, I'm booked in for this Thursday. I've been putting together some thoughts on meta questions about the cellular automata which I'm interested to send through for feedback shortly.
The Kororoit group interests me broadly, although I'm still unsure on the specific goals of the group. Work permitting I'm hoping to join the Emergence group soon.
I solved the problem with my password. I remembered what it is. Funny thing memory and a dementia combined.
Hi Tony, I felt that I really must share this link http://on.ted.com/8YC8
Thanks for your kind words. I enjoyed our conversation and look forward to more.
On the subject of my understanding of how and why things have gone down, and continue to do so, you just migt be interested in an interview I did last year. A bit long, but not a bad first.

Looking forward to meeting up again sometime.
Hi Tony. Sorry I can't make tomorrow's meeting. I'll be in Canberra. Please note that we have been bumped out of the Brown Theatre up to level 5 - the Richard Newton meeting room behind the lifts. regards
Tony, Thank-you kindly for hosting us last night- I enjoyed it thoroughly ! Good venue too, though round tables are often easier- maybe a big square ?
