Melbourne Raspberry Jam (hashtag #raspberryJam) is an Australian user group that meets to support hobbyists, developers, teachers, students and families - in fact anybody that would like to put their Raspberry Pi to use. Raspberry Jam is not endorsed, sponsored or formally associated with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, but we do share their goals. We are very grateful to the organisations that do support us: Element14; Connected Community Hackerspace; and RMIT

Please note that Melbourne Raspberry Jam is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age race, religion, favourite programming language and operating system, or any other personal attribute.

But seriously, we do not tolerate harassment of Melbourne Raspberry Jam participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any venue.

Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from Melbourne Raspberry Jam meeting [without a refund if applicable] at the discretion of the Melbourne Raspberry Jam volunteers.

Melbourne Raspberry Jam is about open, participatory knowledge sharing and learning. Harassment and discrimination simply has no place in this environment.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
