RE: [Melbourne-Alternative-Crafters] Call out for interactive activity proposals!

Our crafts are time intensive and I expect space hungry. Happy to assist in projects but I am brain dead and nothing comes to mind! I have some costune jewellery that I can bring that could be pulled apart to do something with. I use bits in my textile jewellery.  Too hard to have a workshop on making your own brooch while trying to sell at the market but happy to bring the stuff along. laura I will send you a photo

Hey craftineers
We've all got some really great crafting skills, so why not share them around?
1000 Pound Bend are working on bringing more interactive activities to their markets and are doing a call out for proposals for interactive creative fun. Bend n Snap is their excellent craft and design market - last month they had The Scribble Project Tattoo Parlour, and it was a massive success so they're seeking future ideas and people to make them happen. Check out some links here:

Rag Trade is their vintage and secondhand market. They're planning to hold DIY workshops that focus on inspiring thoughtful and ethical consuming, buying secondhand and encouraging creativity.
If you have any ideas for workshops and activities you'd like to run please do let Melissa know. Her email address is [address removed]
Cheers
Laura
