Melbourne Meet - connecting Ex-pats with Melburnians

Du Nord (nordic inspired style bar) on Little Bourke St is the venue for the next Melbourne Meet. Chris[masked] - not a smartphone
Specials (not that great but at least there is some):
$6.50 pint  "mystery beer". $12 "market" cocktail.
Scandinavian inspired food also available

Melbourne Meet has a regular meetup on first Tuesday of each month at a hidden bar or unique place.

Hope to see you there!
During 2014 we will be doing other meetups in addition to the regular monthly hidden bar meetup. These may include free outdoor concerts, festivals, cafes.
There will also occasionally be information on the facebook page about (& links to) events happening in Melbourne, such as "summer in the parks" series, things to do & see (besides the usual ones)

if you see something that would be a great for a meetup, send the organisers a message, click the 'suggest a meetup' tab & post some details, or post a comment on the facebook page.

Shout outs to Chris and the lovely Selina. I will be a little late, 7:30 but c'est la vie. And Chris, I have that list of coffee shops my sister gave me.

And of course also Kate & Paulina are co-hosts.
People will only be late if they don't get there by 8:30 but we will be there later anyway. Some of us may go for late snack, dessert after 9. Thanks for the list - i've found a cafe open sundays in cbd which would be good for a regular meetup & i've been impressed with another one though past reviews weren't favourable re staff. but staff has changed.

Hi all. We will be at & near a large communal style table in the front section. Du Nord is about 100 metres (towards Queen St) from the intersection of Elizabeth St & Little Bourke St.
Chris Charles will be wearing a name tag with "meetup chris" on it. Ask for any of the hosts or ask bar staff for Chris. Or the "Internationals" group (as there's an entrepreneur's meet up in the back section)
If new to Melbourne, Little Bourke St runs past the back of the old GPO building where H&M now is.
