New Telerik tools and Ford Sync AppLink

Food and drink sponsored by Ford Sync AppLink

John Bristowe from Telerik returns to talk about developments in their projects including:
Mobile Application Development with Sitefinity
Telerik Sitefinity is a content management system that offers numerous capabilities for developers targeting mobile. It provides a platform that enables you to target responsive design & layout challenges. It also can support hybrid application scenarios. This session will cover the fundamentals of both approaches (responsive design and hybrid) and demonstrate how Sitefinity can help you target them.
Application Analytics for Mobile Developers
The process of measuring your mobile applications is vital to understanding how they are used in the wild. Without this data, it’s difficult to improve your applications in an effective manner. This session will highlight the importance of application analytics and provide you with practical information about what to capture and how to capture it. It will also provide an overview of solutions available to developers to help support the capture of these analytics.

Amazing talks and good to know lots of stuff.
    1) For ford Sync AppLink, I doubt whether it's gonna be successful or not, there are lots of issues need to over come.
    i) Voice recognition accuracy
    ii) Reliability of wifi signal
iii) How to compete with Google Now and Siri

    2) Telerik, I am pretty impressed with their tools and content management system. Hopefully the price is not too harsh and we can have a go.

      2) Google Now and Siri can do lots of things, such as navigate me to xxx, what's the score of the tennis match, what's the weather in xxx place. Stream Music to xxx, just check out google IO and WWDC. Lots of wow feature

      3) Also, it's very hard to let devs to write apps for your system, how do they test? No one will buy a HMI machine or car to the test. So I am not sure how popular your sdk download will be.
Anyway, that's just my thoughts. Certainly Ford is one step ahead trying to do sth using technology to change their business. But how far the system will go, Let us wait and see.
