Hey all,

Just been thinking about how Google has changed over the last couple of years and I thought I would throw it up to this group for your opinion.

Im sure that a lot of you have notice that Google has been making massive changes within their organisation. Some of the changes are normal of a business keeping up with the times but others are more subtle.

Think about it? When in the past has Google ever spent money on advertising? They use to work on the principle that they didn't have to pay for advertising as their users did all the work for them. Now we have billboards and other marketing materials around Southern Cross Train Station. Im sure there others but thats the first place I have ever seen Google 'offline'.

Googles whole principle was always 'Do no evil'. It was basically their business motto from what I understand. But with all the pressure that I am sure the investors and the board are putting the company, I wonder how long their long standing motto will survive.

Whats your thoughts?
