August Pagan Meetup

The Autumn is upon us, and we are into the harvest season. Join Temple of the Sacred Gift for their monthly Pagan Meetup on August 27, at 7pm to discuss cooking, herbs, and all things kitchen witchery. Bring any ideas or recipes that you love to share. 

Light snacks and drinks provided. 

All meetups are free and open to the public.

    Back to School Ritual

    Come and support the children and adults who are going back to school this season. Education leads to higher knowledge and growth and achievement of new skills in life. The Patron Goddess Hecate and the Patron God Pan of the ATC will be called to bless us all! Let us celebrate this important part of development by giving the students tools in which they can use throughout the year and gifts as a reminder that they have our help and support as well as the blessings from the Gods.

    Temple of the Sacred Gift - ATC, Memphis There will be a craft for the children. Ritual will be at 7:00PM and there will be a pot luck afterwards.

    Hypnotherapy with Richard Ervin of Ervin Hypnosis Center

    Richard Ervin of Ervin Hypnosis Center will come and share with us the "science" and spiritual application of Hypnosis, and then as a group he will practice the art of Hypnosis with us.

    Richard Ervin, founder of Ervin Hypnosis Center, is a Certified Hypnotist. Richard has a B.A. in Psychology from Memphis State University (now University of Memphis) and a M.A. in Management and Human Relations from Webster College (now Webster University). He is certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists as a Certified Hypnotist and Instructor.

    Price of the workshop is TEN dollars (10.00) and all are welcome

    Broom Making Workshop: Continuing a Cultural Tradition

    Broom making is a Time honored tradition that has been practiced for hundreds of years all over the world. Originally they were made from whatever material that we had growing our laying around our home but they have always been made from natural materials: Tree branches, Twigs, Flax fiber, straw, hay, even corn husks.

    Cost of this Workshop is Ten Dollars and all supplies to make your own broom included your CHOICE of "freshly dried herbs" to put in your broom will be provided for this price (10.00)

    50's Sock Hop and Ice Cream Social

    The 1950's are a romanticized era of dames and dudes, sock hops, bee bop, twisting the night away, malt shops and Ice cream socials. Come and wear your 1950's best (vintage is fun as is dressing up!) and we will have 1950's dance instructor to help us do it properly ( Tasha Rhodes), and a vintage Sallyanne's Mobile Ice Cream Diner at the Temple of the Sacred Gift! Rumored Photography will be taking group pictures, single picture, VINTAGE pictures period.

    There will be a small raffle of 1950's vintage items (think Betty page Painting, pinup post cards, and 50's memoralbia) We will give a gift certificate to the person who is BEST dressed and one for the BEST Dancer.

    Eight (8) dollars for this event, and for the price of admission you get a choice of 9 different items from SallyAnne's Mobile Ice cream truck!

    You are cordially invited to come and receive Reiki energies to heal and soothe your body, mind and Spirit. Get those Chakra Centers unblocked, balanced and spinning and set intentions for future personal growth and improvement. All are welcome to attend so bring your friends, co-workers or family.

    Open Reiki Circles are invitational types of gatherings which allow the general public to come and experience Reiki in a group setting. Public circles are mainly intended to bring awareness to Reiki and to help educate anyone who is curious about learning about Reiki. These gatherings also help to promote Reiki practitioners in the area.
