Machinations: A New Way to Design Game Mechanics

Machinations is a visual language for diagramming game economies, and a tool for drawing, and above all simulating them without writing code.

The Machinations framework is designed to model activity, interaction, and communication between the parts of a game's internal economy.

It can be found at www.JorisDormans.nl/machinations

This tool needs more hype because it is hugely beneficial and intuitive to understand.

well the simpleSQL tool hasn't been ideal...Its ORM reflection doesn't correctly create tables with multiple primary keys so I had to do all my create tables in sql. That's been my only complaint though.

If you know Java then learning C# in Unity will be pretty easy.

Towards the end of March I'll be starting a Unity workshop on campus. I'll use my journeymen knowledge of Unity to teach undergrads the basics of using Unity to create a game. It will be hosted by the ACM but I'm wondering if we can extend it and set up meetups for the workshops through our group. The date is tentatively set for March 21st the Friday @ 6pm for the first workshop.
