Good book for beginners on a 19x19 board - "Mastering the Basics of Go - Illustrated in Nine-Stone Games" by Eugene Lim & Herve Dicky

Dear Fellow Go Enthusiasts,

I have been going through the following book and find it very helpful, even though I no longer consider myself a beginner. I think it would be really good for beginners who are just starting on a 19x19 board with a nine-stone handicap. It deals with over-all strategy. It's from Slate & Shell Press.

I'll bring the book with me to the Wednesday meetings, so you can look it over. We might even go through a little bit of the beginning, if someone would like.

Yours in Go,

Jim Story
