Here is a table using a game between a 9d and an 8d. Notice the
"Meta-SE Diff" column which is just the difference between the SE of
the previous move against the current move. e.g. Move 1: B+12.5,
Move 2: B+0.5, SE Diff: +12.0 (in W's favor).

In the opening, the diff see-saws on each turn as I would expect.
However, notice Move 15. It "helps" W instead of helping B. Would
this data point be a possible sign of a "misplay" by B in the local
area? (Notice that distance between W's Move 14 and B's Move 15 is
just 1 point)

 Color...Move...Location...SE...Meta-SE Diff
 B........1......r16.....(12.5)
 W........2......d4......(0.5)......12.0
 B........3......q4......(12.5)....(12.0)
 W........4......d17......0.5.......13.0
 B........5......p17.....(13.5)....(14.0)
 W........6......r10.....(4.5).......9.0
 B........7......f3......(15.5)....(11.0)
 W........8......c6......(5.5)......10.0
 B........9......r8......(22.5)....(17.0)
 W........10.....r13.....(10.5).....12.0
 B........11.....k4......(24.5)....(14.0)
 W........12.....h3......(6.5)......18.0
 B........13.....h4......(25.5)....(19.0)
 W........14.....j4......(24.5)......1.0
 B........15.....j5......(19.5)......5.0 <<< Here
 W........16.....j3......(7.5)......12.0
 B........17.....k3......(43.5)....(36.0)
 W........18.....g4.......9.5.......53.0
 B........19.....h5......(46.5)....(56.0)
 W........20.....g3......(5.5)......41.0

( I apologize for the poor formatting. I have a spreadsheet if anyone
wants to look at it more cleanly. )

In case you were curious, the game ends W+38.5
