World War Z (staring Brad Pitt)

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Rotten tomatoes favorable reviews: 70% critic, and 99% want to see it. Start time: 4:40pm (I suggest getting a ticket in advance, or arrive by 4:20 to make sure you get in) Running time: 1:55 Reason for changing start time: Theaters announced show times late. The movie owes it's inspiration on a book of the same name. However, it does not closely follow the book. Latest trailer (#3) www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3wE0CTrqbQ

I enjoyed it. There is a city sequence. A very difficult scene to pull off, and it came off well. I could feel the anxiety. The key, like most horror, is suspended disbelief!

Very well done. Too well done, in fact. Not being a horror movie freak, though, I don't ever need to see this one again!

Sometimes a few people meet at the fountain before the movie, But meeting after is the key. That's when we talk about me movie and make plans for going out for Food or drink.

Arg! I have to work. Which wouldn't be so bad, if I was actually getting paid for it. Such is the life of the salaried employee.

If I don't end up having to work, I'll be there. If I do have to work, I'll come back and change my RSVP.

Everyone: The Saturday schedule is finally available at Paradiso. We need to choose between 3:50 (3D) and 4:40 (2D) showings. I'd like to choose by tomorrow night. If you have a preference, please let me know.

Rax, Thursday night is an early viewing opportunity. It's playing at 8:00 (2D) and 8:01 (3D) at the Paradiso too. These early showings tend to sell out, and I worry group turnout is low on a Thursday. Lets put it up to a vote, and I'd go for it if the demand is there. Would people prefer the opening show, Thursday night, (running time 1:55) or see it Saturday during the day? Please comment.

No that's fine. I just wanted to suggest it for another choice, and the reason I went with that theater is the advanced showings have a low turn out rate there, and the tickets are only 8.50 for both regular and 3d :). Have fun on Saturday.
