Wapanocca NWR adventure

There are no real trails, but there are several parking places around the lake where we will stop and explore.  Most of the time, there is a locked gate at the dam (on the sw side of the lake) that prevents you from making the complete loop.  There is one nice boardwalk/fishing pier that extends out on the lake a bit.  Bring binoc/camera - this is a noted birding area.

It was a great adventure - BUT I CAN'T BELIEVE WE ALL LEFT OUR CAMERAS AT HOME!

The last three 'ducks' we saw were Northern Shovelers. Great day for birding. I've never seen so many Coots, and to see a Barred Owl was a treat. Definitely plan to go back in late April to see all the migrating birds

As much as I want to. But, I can hear the alluring call of the worker nurse jack bird. ;)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
