Strawberry Plains Family Hike (less than 2 miles flat) - $3 for non-members

  • Strawberry Plains Audubon Center

285 Plains Road, Holly Springs, MS (map)

    34.833567 -89.470253

  • I go early so caravan/carpool leaves Arlington Visitors Ctr (12036 Arlington Trails) at 8:15 or meet us at the Strawberry Plains Visitors Ctr - hike starts at 10am sharp
  • I have volunteered to help lead FAMILY hikes at Strawberry Plains Audubon Center for the summer and unfortunately, they are the first Saturday of the month (same day as Dana's Herb Parsons Hike).  So if you want to do a little something different and visit a great treasure of the area, come join us.  I go early and wander around so the carpool/caravan departs the Arlington Visitors Center (12036 Arlington Trail) at 8:15 or you can meet us at the SPAC visitors center - the hike starts at 10:00 sharp.  Bring water, snacks/lunch, sunscreen and bug spray - yes it's time for bug spray!  Plan on 2 miles, but mostly flat and shaded.  The focus is nature and exploring for kids so we will be wandering and looking.  We will be looking at birds and bugs, trees and flowers...  Bring your camera - there is always something to take pics of...

If you have kids, bring them along for the Family Hike starting at 10:00 am on the first Saturday of every month. And it only costs $3 per person, the cost of our grounds admission. Experience first-hand the natural and cultural history that makes Strawberry Plains so unique.  Each hike has the potential for new wonders!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
