Meeman-Shelby Forest - Chickasaw Bluff Trail

We will be heading out to the bluff where some of the best views are to be seen. The maps list this as a 3.5 one way so be prepared to end up with a total of 7 miles minimum. Water highly recommended and any other comfort foods or items you wish. Due to the length and minimal inclines, it is a minimal rated trip. However, remember the total distance when committing to this please.

Carpooling optional, suggest a central location and we can join up. My vehicle is not a valid choice for this so others need to step up or just meet at the visitors center at 9:30AM

Still plan on the trip, if there are any complications call me at[masked]-2166. I'll be at the visitors center at 9:30. I expect the trail to be wet and/or muddy so this will just be the Chickasaw Bluff Trail. The 3 mile loop has mucho dirt sections on inclines so it's out.

Meeting at visitors center at 9:30. Since it's a small group, anyone want to increase the difficulty level? We can add the front loop of the 3 mile and then catch the Chickasaw from near the shelter. That adds the hills to the 7 mile trip.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
