I went to this Friday instead of Sat and it was awesome. The hummer banding allows you to feel the heartbeat. There are two banding areas so seek the other one if there is a line.

This location is a treasure and so close to Memphis. Lots of history and it has a combo of wooded trails and meadow ones so you get a chance to see different species. There are tons of hummers and they have feeders set up where you can get real close to them. The visitor center is a quaint log cabin. Just a great place if you love nature.
