Open circle of men desiring to traverse their inner landscape, seek what is hidden there, recognize the felt-experience of their truth, own what is authentic, and make choices from a place of increased awareness. It is the quest to live authentic and truthful lives. So, . . .

. . .what’s the truth behind saying you’ll do something, yet doing something else?

. . .what’s the truth behind your emotional reaction to others?

. . .what’s the truth behind not having your head, heart and actions fully aligned?

. . .what’s the truth behind repeating behavioral patterns that no longer serve you?

. . .what’s the truth behind to whom, or to what, you put yourself in service?

These are the sorts of questions a man desiring to improve his life will ask himself. This circle of men is dedicated to finding many ways to ask themselves, and each other, these type questions, as well as, do their best to answer them.

A man dedicated to finding, recognizing and revealing his own truth about his emotions, beliefs, behaviors, judgments and true nature, is on his own true path to mature masculinity. This path may pass through territories of accountability, emotional literacy, honesty, self-integrity, purpose, responsibility, mission, and many other inner landscapes. Experiencing what is not working, a man can work also, to “remember” his soul's demand to be who he is really, and expand his journey to manifest himself authentically.

This group existed, with variations, since January 2007. Originally, a closed Mankind Project (MKP) (http://mankindproject.org/) Integration Group (I-group), members chose this group, from several I-groups, to continue their journey, after completing MKP’s gateway weekend experience, the New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA) (http://mankindproject.org/new-warrior-training-adventure). 

Mid-2010, the group began supporting men from outside the MKP community, and April, 2011 transformed into a more generic men's inner work circle.  Today, the Atlanta Men's Circle is a totally-open men’s circle, inviting any man seeking (his) truth, mature masculine nature, and forgotten soul, to come. "Come, come, whoever your are, come! Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving - it doesn't matter. This is not a therapy group, advocacy group, religious group, or anti-religious group. It is a group of men, experienced and inexperienced in men's work, committed to working on themselves and supporting each other, with a common desire to live authentic and truthful lives.

Typical meetings have 8-12 men.  Many do not RSVP as the group has been meeting for years without RSVP's being involved.
