Not sure when I will ever get in the city to attend one of your events. I guess I've been a bit of a country mouse of late. I have been thinking about bee keeping. Although at this point I'm just reading about it. It's nice when I meet a few people that are involved. I never really thought about being green before but, guess I might be... look I'm in a green meet-up group.

Hi! Thanks Anaiis for the welcome! I read through your activities and think it's great what you are doing! I am a big supporter of city gardening and farming and would love to get more involved. I live in NJ but I'm a city girl at heart. We ripped up a huge portion of our suburban lawn and put in a vegetable/wildflower garden. I would love to get more people to garden even on a smallscale level..I think it would be cool to tour some of these gardens in the city!

I'm definitely organizing tons of exciting events and great ways to get involved in the Fair Farms Campaign over the next few months, and I am eager to let everyone know about them and give them an opportunity to get involved. I live in West Philadephia, right off Baltimore. Most of the meetings will be in that area, but am more than willing to plan events all over the city!

Yahoo! Congrats on moving into your own space! Hooray! I'm looking forward to the 12th. I submitted a proposal to Norristown school district for a week of farm-to-school activities at the end of September. If I am approved, I'd love to hire you to conduct a class for the fifth graders on the importance of healthy soil for healthy vegetables. The dates I proposed to Norristown are September 26-30.
