With the help of a group of close friends, I identified the need for grassroots education on issues of local food, and systems sustainability. Menu for the Future is the local resource for creating small, intimate discussions around what we eat, where our food comes from, food safety, food insecurity, creating edible schoolyards in our neighborhoods, and supporting or even become local food growers.

We meet, we read, we think, we choose, we act.

This group is associated with Green Sanctuary Earth Institute of Pennsylvania and to Unitarian Society of Germantown Green Sanctuary, UUMFE, and Northwest Earth Institute. We are doing outreach to local schools and universities. We are collaborating with Weavers Way Co-op, Northwest Interfaith Movement, we are needed, we are new and we are growing!
