Meteor Atlanta - InstallFest, QA, Demo

Welcome to our 2nd Meteor Atlanta Meetup! Below is the itinerary -

6:30 - 7pm - Install Fest. Remember to bring your laptops or devices (ipad + nitrous.io). Hypepotamus will be open in case you need to arrive earlier for setup.

7 - 7:30pm - A special guest, Chris Mather of EventedMind (https://www.eventedmind.com/) will be holding a Google Hangout Q&A session. EventedMind is an incredible resource for both beginners and experts alike learning Meteor.

7:30pm - 8:00pm - We'll discuss how to create a relatively small meteor app from scratch. We'll use Madeye - https://madeye.io/ - for collaboration, or pair programming; This may be a continuing segment, not unlike homework :)

8 - 8:30 pm - Jacob Shidler and Caleb LeNoir will be presenting a fantastic and new service called Liquid - https://getliquid.io/; "Easily collect, analyze, and share data" for research collaborators. Built with Meteor.

We'll have light snacks, and drinks - and don't be shy about inviting friends, or interested parties. Meteor is glowing, err growing - don't miss out.

Really enjoyed meeting everyone last night, and a big thank you to Robert for putting this together. I look forward to seeing you all next month.

I'll be bringing in a Dvorak Typematrix keyboard, Logitech Marble Mouse, Mac Mini running Windows 8.1 and a 20" monitor, plus a power strip. I prefer this to a tiny laptop. Any issues with that?

Maybe someone can be nice and reserve me some desk space.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
